2 miles...it hurt, but it was good...

Ran/walked two miles (two laps, which I guess is two miles?) outside this afternoon around the Hope Mills Park. I can definitely feel the effects of not running much over the last week, but it felt really good to get back to it. As pitiful as it was, this was my best run since last Tuesday (I think!), and I'm excited to get back on track (ha ha!).  No more running on the treadmill for me until after the 5K if I can help it - I've got to get ready!

Good for you! I'd say I'm not ready to run again until at least Tuesday, maybe later. Breathing is still tough. But I'm encouraged-I think I'll get in a few runs before the big day!
